Coming September - New Multiple Gaming Community

Due to the limitations of IPB disallowing me from having more then 1 active forum over my IPB license (with their newest 3.1 version) I will be integrating all of the forums I run into a base forum meant as a 'gaming community' for multiple games.

Games included thus far:
- Starcraft 2: (Talking with a sc2 community atm)
- WoW: (Enigma, (Ethereal, casual guild) )
- FFXI: shenanigansls
- FFXIV: TBA

At this time I have little details on the matter, however this will allow me to make a larger community and allow me to work on a resource site that has been in the planning for a month now.

Each of the sites hosted off the resource page will use the same forum, but will have their own 'section' for their uses, as well as have access to various base community resources.

I look forward to providing more details into this matter as the date comes closer.

I have no plans on renewing it.

I do, however, plan on keeping the forums in an alternate place, a redirect to the new place will probably be setup late august.

well.. im a boomkin so i will buff ppl with my 5% inc crit chance.. that is nice.. and i now how to play my class.. first just if i can precast i would use starfire.. if not then i would put up my dots and FF then cast wrath tell eclipse procs then cast startfire tell that one proc then go back to warth.. i will refresh my dots when they run out

well.. the air that it is between the feathers will start to add to the total weight so you will never truly have a ton of feathers since you cant have them without air so i can not commit on this question... plz fix it

Critical Guild - The last man crosses the finish line

What has been called a 'sinking ship' has now become a reality, and we will no longer be raiding in the 25 man aspect of WOTLK.

It has been a very tough last few months and the officers and I have tried our hardest to continue keeping the guild as a raiding guild, we tried to recruit as much as we could, but the dedication was no longer there. I am not saying that it's your guy's fault, I honestly blame the end of expansion, it usually happens and most guilds unfortunately end up in this boat.

I'm not going to make a huge post about it, but, basically, I wish you all the best for those of you who leave us, if you were one of the old Vek'nilash crew and are leaving, please speak with me before you leave.

Once again, it has been a pleasure leading you in ICC 25 and I look forward to what the future brings us (Final Fantasy, Cataclysm?, Possible transfer?).

Not really. I just want to get back into the game before Cataclysm.

Ethereal. They were just TOTAL douchebags. I have no idea why anyone would want to play with those jerks.

8.) Name the past three guilds you've been in, and explain why you have parted ways with them. Invincible because they broke up. Unspent Talent because they weren't raiding enough. and Swagger because they were taking too long to set up the raid groups.

9.) What has compelled you to seek a home in Critical, and why would you choose our guild over other guilds? I need good raiding for ICC and I see Critical has gone a ways in ICC.

10.) What does the word "dedication" mean to you, in all aspects of the word? Explain thoroughly. I will make it to raids if I can as soon as possible , and I will be on all the time I can and sacrifice my time from any other things to help out the guild.

11) Describe your spec and what it will bring to a raid. Along with a description of your spec, please include a spell/ability rotation (if there is a rotation) you would use and why it is most effective. If you are a healer, please describe how you would effectively heal if assigned to heal a main tank or assigned to heal a raid.I would bring Melee DPS to a raid and for my spec is Blood. My rotation is Icy Touch , Plague Strike , 2 Heart Strikes , and Death Strike. I use them because Icy Touch is the disease which goes on first , i use Plague Strike because it puts on a buff that boosts my attack power , i use 2 heart strikes because it will hit my target and it's 2 nearest allies , and it does 10% additional damage for every disease that's on the targets.

12.) What websites do you go to for further information on your class and boss strategies? Please provide a list and why you visit these websites. Tankspot because it shows all boss fights and because it is made up from Blizzard which will give you more detailed information sense they know everything about the boss.

13.) How often are you online, and how often do you want to raid? I am on at least 5hours a day depending on what's going on. and I want to raid at least 3-4 times a week on Monday , Wednsday , Friday , Saturday , and Sunday.

14.) Aside from raiding, what in-game activities do you enjoy? Pvp combat in arenas and battlegrounds.

15.) What do you expect to get from Critical? A raid spot for ICC (first few bosses). I've only done Marrowgar so I am wanting to work down from the bottom and build my way up.

The trinkets will vary along with some bonus armor pieces, i have my 4set of 264 for fights when the 4-set bonus is well worth it.

Indeed I have, I transfered from Sen'Jin on Monday night, the 21st. I'd playing a the same server for about 3 years now, a friend suggested a change of scenery makes it seem almost like a new game. So far it has, each realm I think has a certain ambiance to it.

8.) Name the past three guilds you've been in, and explain why you have parted ways with them.
Providence - The guild broke up after a clear divide between the 6 officers in the guild fragmented raids.
Decent Players - This was a small 10 man guild, was going just fine then it merged into...
Precedence - DP merged with this 10 man guild to form a pretty solid 25man guild, however, old habits die hard, and the original members felt the need to disassociate from the new members whenever they could, after a time it seemed there were two guilds in one. A number of the older, more mature players grew tired of childish in-fighing and basically said fuck it.

9.) What has compelled you to seek a home in Critical, and why would you choose our guild over other guilds?
Even after a short time I feel the need to be a competitive progressive raider, i'm 11/12 in icc25 and would not like to regress into guilds that are still stuck at 6/12 and 7/12. Something I'm sure that you are aware of, the option on the Hills is limited.

10.) What does the word "dedication" mean to you, in all aspects of the word? Explain thoroughly.
In the sense of WoW i've always went by finishing what you start. Sounds Simple enough but in this game people find it very easy to give up at the smallest hint of adversity, if you are dedicated, you push on and accomplish your goal.

My Prot spec can and will differ, this depends on the boss encounter. In general it will be the cutter 15/3/53, it also depends on raid setup/comp, but usually that's what it is. The Prot rotation is something of a priority system to where there is even a cliche, "If you have more rage, you aren't heroic striking enough", its been around for awhile and the subject of numerous blue posts on warrior tanking, but thats the way it will be until Cata(so they say) That said, devastate, SS if proc'd or upon cooldown, but Revenge takes priority over devastate, sometimes SS and Revenge may be up upon the slam GCD, not the norm but it does happen, always SS over revenge, Revenge has a 30% to proc Sword and Board, so you may get two SS in a short amoutn of time and this results in win.
Boss fights also involve keeping demo shout if no spec pally in the raid and keeping the TC debuff up on the boss, fit these in preferably in a lull if possible, but they need to be kept up.
My fury Rotation is what you would read on the tankspot.com or even the WoW warrior forums(CAREFUL) WW, BT, slam if proc'd, BT, wait one sec, WW, BT, rinse, wash, repeat. In high rage fights you may use HS quite alot, Fury warriors at ICC level gear find themselves swimming in rage, you may seem like you are spamming it, but the general consensus is if you are above 50-60 rage heroic strike away.

I'm online after work, in server time it'd be about 5 server, this is usually everyday. I'd like to raid as much as possible be it 10 or 25man progression. Your raid time work nicely for me.

I find myself lately wanting to get achievement points, I dont know why, maybe boredom, and I also have a goal of reaching the Gold Cap before Cata drops.

Solid Raiding schedule, raids happen when they are scheaduled, and people know what they are doing.

My profession is that I'm a Pediatric Oncology RN, basically my patients are kids that have various forms of cancer, its a tough job at times, but I find it immensely gratifiying.

If you are not at this time looking to add a tank to your 25man raid, my Fury gear is kept up to date, I have a 4set of 245, helm and bracers 264 and my weapons are also from ICC and my trinkets are up to date. If told "Meat, we need you to raid as Fury", this is not a problem, my current gear does 8k-ish on festergut to give a guideline, if this was made my main spec i'd invest my frost badges into it, it would not take long trust me.

I have only heard good things about the guild and have ran a few things like OS3D with members. You guys are also one of the few guilds that are nice enough to bring in trial raider, if you do that you must be nice people,

I use a pretty basic arcane MS, I had points in incanters absorption until the recent patch requiring you to keep up a shield to proc the buff. I also spec into “slow” because I use it on saurfang in ICC to free up our hunter from having to drop a frost trap. ATM my raiding haste is at 885, lower than most top mages. I have a few pieces of 251 gear that can bring my haste over 1k. But in bringing my haste that high with my guilds overall DPS being lower making for longer fights, id find myself oom before my mana gem and evo CD

Everyday 6-10 hours usually after 2pm, will never try to cut out of a raid early because of the time, everyday

Pretty chill person, don’t yell or take shit out on other people. Pretty much into a bit of everything. Maybe the best way to describe my character…when me, krypton, and friends get drunk, im the one that’s still smart enough to tell him what he is about to do is a bad idea.
